ASP.NET Web Api session with Henrik Frystyk Nielsen

by daniel 3. December 2012 13:59

Scott Hanselman talks about this guy in one of his BUILD talks (found right here), where he mentions Henrik as this wizkid coming out of CERN with a talent like the few. Scott actually also goes and mentions Mads Kristensen, which some of you undoubly know from his epic work, both in regards to the .NET community, BlogEngine.NET and as a pleasant guy with some great and cool ideas. Henrik is one of Danish guys that work at Microsoft in Redmond, and it seems that he has done something special to a lot of us by adding some of his magic mind into the work of the ASP.NET Web API. I have heard people say things like “ohhh my gooosh, this API is way cooler than my new Bacon Kitty wallpaper” and “This is the API that made me realize how I love that simple stuff makes me smile”.

If you have never seen or heard of the ASP.NET Web API you should check out this talk from BUILD (the above) where Jon Galloway and Scott Hanselman talks a bit about it from the get-go of the session. There is quite a lot of material on the subject over at Pluralsight as well.

If you are interested in watching a ASP.NET Web API session with Henrik, then you should go ahead and join the newly born Microsoft conference Warm Crocodile. Henrik has 2 sessions there, and a lot of other very interested and talented people will be there as well.
